Imagine with me for a moment that you are on a beach looking for seashells, when your dad calls you out to him in the water. It looks too deep for you but you go out towards your dad. All of a sudden a current pulls you and you lose your balance and go under. You hear your dad shouting for you but you don’t know which way is up or down. Imagine with me for a moment that you are camping with all your gear. You have already set up your tent when you realize the sun is going down and you haven’t much time to get a fire started. You find some flint at the last second. You scratch it against a rock and a spark ignites.
God is your flint. He sparks your personal flame. He wants you to show your flame to everyone and spread it to others. There always needs to be at least one flame to light others. Jesus was that one. He spread his flame to his disciples and everyone he met. [more]

Imagine with me for a moment that you travel in the car on a road trip. A few miles from home, a sputtering noise begins to sounds. Suddenly the car breaks down. You get out of the car but there is nothing you can do. You have to call a mechanic. When he shows up, he assesses the problem then cuts some wires and puts new ones in.
