Imagine with me for a moment that you are visiting a lava tube excursion on vacation. You have lights on your hat so you can see easily. Out of the corner of your eye you spot something shiny. It looks to be a sapphire! You go to your tour guide and see if it is claimed land. He tells you it is public property so you can have the treasure. You go back to the spot where you found it and are disappointed to find it gone! After much searching, you look around and find it on the floor of the tunnel.

God is like that sapphire. He wants you to find him. He wants to be treasure in your eye. Satan, on the other hand, tries to make you think that, “you can’t have him; he is already too high and exalted for you to talk to him.” He doesn’t want you to find God. Satan is the one who tries to make you think that God is fake and that he (Satan) should be your king. What you have to do is take a holy sapphire sword and defeat Satan.

God will always be in the corner of your eye even if He seems to be blocked by an obstacle the devil puts in our path. God will be your sapphire sword and shield. God will always protect you no matter if the devil tries to push Him away from you.

God will penetrate any sin you have if you ask Him to come into your life. You can always pray and ask God to help you get rid of sin the devil constantly puts in your life. He will always show you a way to fight back against the devil with your Bible. God will always be there for you right in plain sight.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6)

“Be strong and courageous.” = do not show fear in the face of the devil but rather fight back!

“Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you.” = know that God is always with you no matter what.

“He will not leave you or forsake you.” = God will stick with you no matter what.

Will you let God be your prized treasure?
