I was so blessed by this testimony from Laura! What she shared resonated with me even though my parents were not alcoholics but my mom was depressed my whole childhood and even into adulthood and my dad was verbally abusive and controlling. So the life lessons that Laura and Dr. Michelle shared; the insights and personal testimony, very much related to my situation. I have experienced much healing over my years as a Christ follower but as both ladies said, it takes me/you doing the work and receiving forgiveness and healing and giving forgiveness. I have had several mentors over the years and I have also been and am a mentor for other women, younger or older, walking the path of needing healing from this type abuse. Thank you both for sharing so freely and honestly with us.
