A FREE SIX WEEK BIBLE STUDY
Online Hope Prevails Bible Study
Perfect for those struggling with or those who have friends and family members struggling with the Post Holiday Blues or Depression.
Live weekly beginning Monday, January 23, 2023
You are not alone in this journey.
Depression is no laughing matter, but it can be easier to cope when we’re surrounded by the support of friends and mental health professionals. That’s what I hope you will experience during our time together: I want you to truly know you are not alone on this journey.
If you have a friend or family member who might be struggling with depression, or who has a friend or loved one who does and better wants to understand it and learn how to be a source of support, encourage them to join us.
My goal for this time together is that you will feel supported while we turn to the Word of God, learn what depression is and where it comes from, and learn the limits God places on the impact of depression in our lives.
We will journey through this together over the course of 6 weeks, meeting together Monday evenings at 8pm ET/7pm CST/6pm MT/5pm PT for approximately an hour starting Monday, January 23, 2023.
What I expect:
You will read the books and do the homework in the Bible study. The books are required for this step.
Come to our weekly Zoom sessions with any questions you might have.
What I can’t offer:
While we will work together to learn God’s word as it relates to our depression journey, I will guide you from my professional expertise and personal experience, but this in no way constitutes a Doctor-Patient relationship and is no substitute for seeking medical care from your medical or mental health practitioner.
Join us for the Six Week Online Hope Prevails Bible Study
We’ll meet together weekly via zoom where I will lead us through two chapters of the book and Bible study each week. You’ll be able to leave questions that I will do my best to answer after that day’s teaching.
Instant access to a private Facebook group for additional support and community. Research has shown that those who have the support of others do better in learning how to cope with challenging circumstances.
Throughout the study, I will send you encouraging emails about twice a week to give you pertinent links and encouraging resources through our time together.
Praise and worship music were crucial for me during my time in the valley of depression. You’ll have instant access to the playlists from Hope Prevails and the Hope Prevails Bible Study.
