Episode Summary:
So many women struggle to call God Father because they have never known a Father that was good. Today’s guest, Tanya Glanzman, struggled in that respect as well until God revealed His vast love for her, and now she knows that she is her Heavenly Father’s daughter. In today’s episode, we talk about knowing how much God loves you and what it truly means to embrace our identity as a child of God.
Tanya also shares how to use truths from God’s word to guard your heart and become the boss of your thoughts: Guard Your Heart

Quotables from the Episode:
- When life isn’t stable, God is faithful and unchanging in His love, mercy, and grace.
- We can always run boldly to His throne of grace.
- It is critical to embrace God’s truth and filter every situation through that.
- Understanding love is the catalyst to trust we are saved and forgiven and chosen to be used by God.
- Forgiveness is releasing a person from the debt they owe.
- There’s nothing God calls us to do that isn’t for our good.
- Precious Daughter, look to your Abba Father for your value and worth – dig into the truth of His Word to discover Who He says you are in and through Christ and who He longs to be for you because of His love for you. Allow the truth of God’s Word to be the filter through which every thought you think flows. When your thoughts do not align with the truth of what God’s Word says, begin to reject the lies that have been offered to you through others and instead replace those lies with the truth that will set you free.

My heart was so burdened for all that Tanya experienced throughout her young life with the different abuses she suffered. It is inconceivable to me that a child can suffer such trauma but in this past year or so, I have learned that Tanya is not the only one but a part of a whole host of children who have suffered horrible unnamed and hidden abuses. I grew up in a era where those things were not spoken of or even known to exist. I am not naive anymore. I was so blessed by Tanya’s testimony of redemption, healing and restoration from her traumatic life and how she is helping other women gain freedom from the pain of the abuse they have suffered. Watching her, seeing her face, her countenance, her joy and her forgiveness manifested in her life lived for Jesus, has encouraged me in great measure. I know who to access when I meet a woman who suffered what she did and wants healing and freedom. Thank you, Dr. Michelle, for your sensitivity to this subject and great need of women. Thank you, Tanya, for your willingness to share the very real pain you suffered as a child and even as you spoke factually about all you endure, there is love for those who hurt you. God has done a major amazing work of healing in your life and I am so proud of you for sharing and I love you for caring about others and helping them heal. Tremendous and powerful message for today. Tanya and Dr. Michelle, you are both love and appreciated very much.
Looking forward to listening to this podcast. I’m so thankful God is such a good, good Father, and despite any disappointments from earthly fathers, we can always count on God.
