I stepped inside my room thinking about what I needed to do. I had an English paper due in three days, math homework due tomorrow, a social studies essay due in 4 days, and a Spanish test next week. I put down my bag and went outside. I didn’t care what was due soon. If I was going to do it correctly I was going to need to unwind some.
Ask God when you need help
When we feel weighed down by school, family, or friends, it can seem overwhelming. We don’t always know what’s coming up and it may seem too hard to do when it’s due. We may have to be the most organized person in the world to be able to keep track of obligations. The good thing is that God has already taken your load and He can do it again. All you have to do is ask Him.
Never give up
Even when it’s tough, when it’s hard, and when it’s brutal, keep going. Never give up. God wants you to make it and for you to get to Him. Even when you’re struggling, trying to keep your head above the water, you can make it. Just lay back and let God take over. He holds you in his hands. You can always make it. No matter if you are struggling or calm, God can always help you to get better. When you are able to know God’s plan clearly, then you can act on it without hesitation.
Ephesians 5:15-16 “Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.”— Make sure you know what to do, for if you don’t you can wind up confused and disoriented.
