I watched outside as the snow plow pushed snow to the sides of the road clearing a path for the cars that would be needing to get through. As it continued to pave the road and clear a path, I went outside. It had cleared my street and was turning to a different section of the neighborhood clearing the way the entire time.
God can always smooth the way for you to get to Him. The problem is when we step off the track onto a rocky, mountainous track. He can pave the road for you to get to Him but if you step off the track that is not for you, it can be rough and difficult. When we stay on the right path then we can show our love for God and go where he needs us to go.
The devil can get us off track by putting up a roadblock or sinkhole in our lives. It can be as small as a minor injury or as big as the death of a loved one. Sometimes we try to stay on the track but there is no place to go and you have to get on a different track. While that may seem like a good idea, God always has you on the right track. There might be something in the way but you can always move around it. It may be rough going temporarily but if you stay on track it is easier to step right back on after the roadblock instead of needing a road to get back to the right track.
Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” –God has a plan for you and you will make it.
