I recently had the opportunity to chat with Melissa Heiland on an episode of Your Hope-Filled Perspective podcast regarding what is sexual abuse and how do we help stop it. If you missed that episode, you can listen here: What is Sexual Abuse and Offering Hope for Survivors. In today’s post, Melissa is offering more encouragement by sharing 8 promises for sexual abuse survivors.

In the face of unimaginable pain and trials, finding peace and comfort can seem like an insurmountable challenge. Yet, amidst the darkness, there are promises from God that serve as beacons of hope, guiding survivors of sexual abuse, and anyone enduring hardship, toward healing and hope. These assurances, rooted in faith and compassion, offer a comforting reminder that even in the depths of despair, God is near to those navigating the aftermath of trauma.

Let these assurances be a source of strength and encouragement, reminding you that you are not alone in your journey toward healing and restoration.
