One of the most important steps in making our health a priority is committing to getting out. Physical exercise, sunlight, and vitamin D all play a vital role in improving and/or maintaining our health, energy, sleep, and mood.
Have you ever been lied to? I have. But probably not in the way you think. The lies we believe can have a profound impact on how we feel about ourselves. Fortunately God’s grace and mercy can bring us to a right view of ourselves.
The outcome of our experience may depend more on our attitude than the actual situation we encounter. I am reminded that I can largely influence the result of my experience by the attitude with which I face the situation. I must deliberately choose that which is right, that which is positive.
When we focus on what we have the opportunity to be thankful for, a subtle shift takes place in our heart and in our mind. The focus moves from ourselves and our own circumstances to God and His generosity, goodness, and faithfulness.
There are many who are having a hard time experiencing joy this Christmas. Yet, we ave a home, clothes to wear, food to eat, presents to open. That makes us wealthier than most of the people in the world. But what if we didn’t? What if we didn’t have a home, or a bed to sleep in, or clothes to wear? We would be in good company.
