He took the life of the only person in this world that loved me. My husband, by the way, was a very healthy man. Destroyed my life and now has made me sick. I have no money or insurance. It really should have come as absolutely no surprise that while I was writing a book on trading our worries, fears, and anxieties for God’s peace, that I would have plenty of opportunity to put that into practice. If it weren’t for the frustration, aggravation, and consternation, it might have been comical. But alas, I’m not quite there yet in my spiritual growth.
Try as you might, you can’t stop the rat wheel of fearful thoughts from spinning in your mind. You know the command to “fear not,” but how do you do that, practically speaking? How do you effectively fight fearful thoughts?
