Can you hear Him? Does the roar and whir of the noise around you drown out His voice so you cannot hear when He calls or attempts to warn you of danger? Does it drown out the Voice of safety? His calls will do no good if you cannot or will not hear Him. How and where do you hear God best?

How can I know the difference between God’s voice, my voice and the enemy’s voice? Many Christ-followers have asked that same question at some point in their journey! The enemy would like you to believe you can’t hear God’s voice, but the truth is God is speaking all the time—we just have to learn to become more attuned to hearing His voice and discerning the difference between His voice and the enemy’s voice. Apply these basic principles to help you discern if the voice you are hearing is God’s or the enemy’s.

As I stilled my heart during morning quiet time with the Lord, He spoke to me and said, “You know what you’re struggling with is not something you battle just during the Christmas season. You have a tendency to jump into problem solving and doing mode.”
The more God got a hold of my heart and spoke to me, the more I realized that my problem solving and doing mode excludes God from the process. It takes God out of the picture.
