You’re not good enough. You’re useless. You’re not as valuable as other people. Have you ever listened to words like these that swirl around in your head? Comparison lies. They’re all part of the enemy’s comparison trap. To defeat the lies, you need to know what God says about you. Do you know who you are in Christ?
Anxiety often starts off small and grows to troublesome proportions. Even Biblical greats suffered from anxiety and listened to lies from a spirit of fear. God’s answer to Moses about anxiety is the same as His answer to our doubts, fears, and anxiety today.
Anxiety and worry are an insidious thing. They creep in like a weekend guest and then take on a life of their own and move in for the long haul before you even realize what happened. Exchanging worry and anxiety for peace is not a one-time event. Beat anxiety with this process.

I had the opportunity to speak to a group of mentor leaders. It was such an honor and a privilege. They received me and my message warmly, and I think we all thoroughly enjoyed the morning.
But I have to admit something. As I was sitting there waiting for my opportunity to share what the Lord had put on my heart for them, another speaker was speaking. As the speaker before me spoke, I listened to the words that were being given and I started comparing what the other speaker was sharing with the word I felt like the Lord had given me.
