“I love you.”
Words that bring comfort, peace, and joy to our heart. Sometimes our words can fall flat and others need to see you take action and demonstrate love. These eight different ways to show love will get you started.
“I love you.”
Will you be mine? That’s not only a question we might ask another this time of year for Valentine’s Day, but I believe is also the fundamental question Jesus asks each of us. Do you love a good “love story?” I think Jesus had to go through Samaria in order to show one woman just how much He loved her.
In this Ask Dr. B column, a reader is asking what to do because her husband suffers with bouts of depression. She asks if it is normal for him to be angry. When he’s depressed, his behaviors are hurtful. What do you do when a spouse is depressed?
God’s kingdom operates differently from ours. Jesus came as a servant, providing a living, breathing example for us to follow of how we are to treat others. In God’s economy, if we want to be great, having a servant heart is key. Greatness in God’s kingdom does not come from being powerful or praised by men. We must be willing to be a servant of all.
Have you ever had to say goodbye to someone you love?
Saying goodbye to my college-aged son was not easy. It hasn’t gotten any easier. Just recently I went to visit him, yet when the time came, it was a very tear-filled goodbye.
After he left, I poured my heart out to the Lord. I’m excited to see what the Lord is doing in and through my son, but my mother’s heart is sad to say goodbye. As I took that before the Lord, He showed me a picture. He reminded me that He had to say goodbye to His son.
