Scripture tells us that trials will come. Whether it’s depression we are facing, or cancer, financial crisis, or any other “storm,” we have a choice to make on where to give our focus so that we can find peace in the storm.
Life is hard. Sometimes things don’t go the way we hope. Sometimes things don’t go the way we plan. Sometimes life just seems so difficult, like we’ll never make it to our destiny. But we can’t give up. God has plans for each of us. And God’s plans are good.
Sometimes the hardest days end up bringing the most hope. On those days when everything in us cries out, “If only…” we may need to shift our perspective to see hope renewed. Will you trust Him with your “if only…”?
We are all facing problems today between relationship difficulties, financial hardship, legal problems, job loss, health problems, and deaths of loved ones and friends. But, God is greater than our problems. We can strive in our own might or surrender to Him. We can choose the stress of trying to do it all or surrender it all to God.
